It presents the bases for the implantation of the geoprocessing in a Municipal City hall. It argues the limitations of the existing bases and the problems to be faced. It argues the possible ways for the generation of a base cartographic, its limitations and adequateness. It supplies script evaluation of the effective situation and the first steps in the process of implantation of the geoprocessing. It guides on the elements that must compose the cartographic base and its ways of representation. It guides on the organization of the alphanumeric database, as well as of the association of cartographic data the alphanumeric ones. It is a point of reflection for the cities that they aim at to organize its cadastres and to evaluate the challenges for the implantation of the Geographic Information Systems.
